Angelina

Angelina is a secondary character from the middle segment from The Busy World of Richard Scarry, titled "The First Easter Egg Ever." She is either a caracal or a bobcat from Bohemia, whose parents named Petra and Maria are candlemakers. Because, one winter, the king has firewood, candle wax, and food provided for Angelina's family, the family, especially Angelina, vows to give him a more special gift... except that Angelina's mother objects to giving him anything but candles. Even though certain gifts do not work out as well as hoped, the king makes the best, such as by using a chair (from Petra) for firewood after accidentally breaking it, and a vest (made by Maria) for a rag after it rips from him putting it on over his royal robe. Eventually, Angelina ends up coming up with wax around an egg. Angelina is voiced by Tara Meyer, known in this program primarily as the voice of Sally Cat.
