"Billy Dog's Bad Day" is the third segment of the sixth episode of The Busy World of Richard Scarry. It is the eighteenth overall episode.
Storyline[]
Billy Dog has a bad day. Huckle was afraid of him at first, especially after rumors say that the former's name is really "Bully," but soon the two of them become best friends.

- Billy Dog makes his first appearance.
- This episode was later adapted into the book, Billy Dog's Bad Day.
- In this episode, Sally is the one who says his name is Bully. In the book, it is Lynnie who says so.
- Also, in the book, Lynnie's jumper (pinafore) and bow are pinkish purple (though when Hilda tells Lynnie that he said it was not Bully, she has no bow on her head).
- This episode was featured in Mr. Frumble's New Cars and 2 other stories and The Best of The Busy World of Richard Scarry on 2 VHSs.
Goof[]
When Lowly introduces himself to Billy, the latter's pants are dark green. Usually, they are light blue. Likewise, the sclerae ("whites") of his eyes are olive-green like his cap.
