Cookie is a supporting character in the railroad story of Richard Scarry's What Do People Do All Day. He is a pig and, as the name kind of suggests, the cook on the dining car of the train in the story. He tries over and over again (so far, in vain) to flip pancakes from the cooked side to the uncooked side, but they somehow keep flying out of the train as it is moving, meaning he is not doing very well. He even keeps practicing while the passengers are asleep that night.
