Huckle Cat is one of the main residents of Busytown and the main protagonist in many of the stories either being the center of the story or being a background character. He is 7 years old. His best friend and pet is Lowly Worm. He wears a yellow shirt with colorful lederhosen on which is a type of Swiss/German/Austrian clothing. He is a young kitten who lives with his dad, his mom, a younger sister, and a worm. In Busytown Mysteries, he is 8 years old. In Richard Scarry's Best Silly Stories and Songs Video Ever and Richard Scarry's Best Sing-Along Mother Goose Video Ever, he is 10-12 years old. He was first appeared in Richard Scarry's What Do People Do All Day. He also appeared in other Richard Scarry books, Richard Scarry's Best Videos Ever, The Busy World of Richard Scarry and Busytown Mysteries.

In the Best Videos Ever series, he is voiced by unknown boys.

Huckle is voiced by Sonja Ball and Joanne Vannicola in The Busy World of Richard Scarry and Busytown Mysteries, respectively.

  • He is named after Richard Scarry's son, Huck Scarry.
  • On Arthur, another CINAR/Cookie Jar Production, in the episode "Attack of the Turbo Tibbles", when the Tibbles are flipping through the channels, they come across a parody of "The Busy World of Richard Scarry", which features a half cat/half bat based on Huckle and a half worm/half bat based on Lowly and Sonja Ball voices the Huckle parody here, just like she did in the original TV series.
