Not to be confused with Lily Cat.

Hee-hee-hee!

Doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo...
―Lily's humming
Ta-dah!
―Lily's catchphrase

Lily Bunny is a female bunny kit. She is Huckle's friend who loves to play with her friends. She takes over as the main protagonist of the second video, instead of Huckle and Lowly. Furthermore, she is voiced by Alison Hashmall and future The Wild Thornberrys actress Lacey Chabert.

Appearances[]

She doesn't appear in Richard Scarry's Best ABC Video Ever, The Busy World of Richard Scarry and Busytown Mysteries.

Looks[]

  • In the Counting, Busy People, Learning Songs and Silly Stories and Songs videos, her shirt is yellow, and her overalls are purple.
  • In the Sing-Along Mother Goose video, her shirt is bright yellow, her collar (on her shirt) is pink, and her pants are red and pink. She is the empress of Mother Goose Land, but not in Busytown.
  • Lily Bunny was more than likely made exclusively for the "Richard Scarry's Best Videos Ever!" series, as Richard Scarry himself probably never originated the character.
  • She is notably absent in Richard Scarry's Best ABC Video Ever!, as this was made and released right before Richard Scarry's Best Counting Video Ever!, which would be her debut appearance. Lily was more than likely created to interest fans of Richard Scarry more after the first video made for Random House video only ended up as underwhelming, and also presumably to create a character to target for a wider demographic, partially girls.
  • She's rarely (if ever) made an appearance outside "Richard Scarry's Best Videos Ever!".
  • She loosely looks like Lily from Max & Ruby. And both characters have similarities:
    • Both wear a shirt and overalls. (However, Max & Ruby's Lily wears a pink shirt and purple overalls with a ladybug. Lily in Richard Scarry wears a yellow shirt and purple overalls.)
    • Both of these characters share the same first name (that being, “Lily”).
