- She shares the same name with Roald Dahl's Matilda character, Jennifer Honey.
- It is shown in any episode (or song segment) of The Busy World of Richard Scarry involving snow, Miss Honey remains barefoot even in the snow (such as in "The Snowstorm" and in the "Christmas Time" and "Ice Skating" song segments).
