Mr. Frumble is a pig who often loses and chases his hat. He drives a pickle-car and is prone to vehicular accidents. He is somewhat clueless, but is a nice pig.
He makes a cameo in the introduction segment (with his hat on) from the first video Richard Scarry's Best ABC Video Ever. His second video appearance is Richard Scarry's Best Counting Video Ever and he is voiced by Ron Marshall. He makes a cameo again in two songs: "Shapes" (with no hat on) and "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" (with his hat on) from the fourth video Richard Scarry's Best Learning Songs Video Ever. He also appears in the Richard Scarry books and educational video games, The Busy World of Richard Scarry, and Busytown Mysteries. But he is absent in the Busy People, Silly Stories and Songs and Sing-Along Mother Goose videos.
Mr. Frumble takes a staring role as Santa’s number one helper in the critically acclaimed children’s Christmas classic, The Night Before the Night Before Christmas. Mr. Fixit transforms Mr. Frumble’s pickle car into a Ski-pickle-doo and comic hilarity ensues. This is a must read on every December 23rd.
In The Busy World of Richard Scarry, he is voiced by Len Carlson and speaks in a British accent.
In Busytown Mysteries, he is voiced by unknown man.
He is regarded by his neighbors as a menace to society, and deserves everything that comes to him.
