Mr. Hippo is a hippo character. He appears in Richard Scarry's Best Counting Video Ever, where he eats 12 pancakes on the 12 segment. He also appears in Busytown Mysteries.
He has two children Hilda (daughter) and Horace (son).
Mrs. Hippo (his wife) is mentioned in the Busytown Mysteries TV series. But she is never seen and/or heard. (That is, similar to Mother Cat the mother of Huckle and Sally.)
