Ron Marshall (born on September 9, 1932 and died on October 14, 2000) was an voice actor who voiced multiple characters in direct-to-video projects.
Besides Richard Scarry's Best Videos Ever, he also voiced Mr. Thistlewhite and Mayor of Southtown from The Year Without a Santa Claus, Hallelujah H. Jones from The Easter Bunny Is Comin' to Town, the dog (from the story Are You My Mother?) from P.D. Eastman Beginner Book Video (Are You My Mother? and 2 Other Stories) and others. He is also the narrator in the Scholastic version of No Jumping on the Bed!
For Sesame Street, he provided the singing for the newer versions of "Dressed Up" and "Beautiful Baby" and voiced a Muppet penguin in "Doing the Penguin," as credited in album releases. His voice is most prominent in many of the Elmo's World television segments, as well as serving as the announcer for some of the earlier TV portions (before Jerry Nelson took over as the voice).
